The DD Frontline coyote brown is made of breathable poylester. It has a two base layer which makes it more difficult for mosquitos to bite through and give you the possibilty to insert an insolation mat. The mosquitonet is fix and cannot be removed. Entry via zip.
The DD Frontline outdoor hammock , like all DD light hammocks has a lying surface made of two layers. The two- layer system has many advantages . First, you can put in between an isolation mattress when it is cold. This is fixed with velcro closures between the layers. Second, the two layers provide better protection against insect bites from below . And man can lay as if in a cocoon between the layers and are thus completely enclosed in a hammock .
The mosquito net is permanently attached to the hammock. The entry and exit is via two zippers on both sides. If the net is not needed, it can simply be tied up. Another possibility is to turn the hammock around. Thus, the mosquito net is at the bottom and can be used to store small items. The aluminum spreader bar is ultra lightweight and can be folded. It expands the mosquitonet in width . So you have more room in the hammock and the fine net does not affect the body.
The DD Frontline consists of an extremely breathable polyester type, which is also pleasant on the skin. Therefore, this outdoor hammock is recommended especially for travel in very hot countries. Due to the solid-meshed mosquito net and double bed surface, the DD Frontline Hammock offers a very good insect protection. Whether you camp in the jungle or other climatic zones of the world in the DD Frontline you are well protected against tropical diseases such as malaria and dengue. As it often rains in humid, hot climates, we recommend a DD tarp along on the trip.
