This soft and sturdy hammock is made in Brazil. The orange cloth hammock from Amazonas offers with a width of 1.75 meters especially much space.
This hammock is on the one hand particularly wide, on the other hand it has a very elaborate pattern. With a width of 1.75 meters, the Carioca Coral can accommodate up to three adults, it is also large enough for a family with two children and two adults. For the production of the hammock the jacquard weaving technique is used. This special technique allows on the one hand very large and on the other hand very complex patterns. Because of the large width and the special weaving technique, special looms are needed to make the Carioca Coral. When weaving the hammock, 6000 single threads are connected with each other. This results in a fabric that is very soft on the one hand and very robust on the other. To further improve the durability of the hammock, braided weave bands are incorporated at the ends to distribute the weight well in the hammock.
Recycled cotton
The lying surface is made of 15 percent polyester and 85 percent cotton. The cotton comes from recycling, a contribution to the conservation of resources. The name of the hammock, Carioca, is actually the name for the inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro, it indicates the origin of the hammock from Brazil. The hammock comes with a handy storage bag made of the same fabric as the hammock. The maximum load capacity of the hammock is 200 kilograms.
