This family hammock is original handmade from Mexico and was made of cotton threads in fresh light green. The extra large net hammock offers fun and relaxation for adults and children.
Mexican net hammocks are unique handicraft for unique lying comfort. In weeks of handwork, the close-meshed net is knotted from cotton threads. The dense lying surface is comfortable and permeable to air and is held by countless, robust suspension cords made of nylon. The special thing about net hammocks is their flexibility. The net can be extremely stretched to fit the body perfectly. The weight is distributed evenly and there are no pressure points or tensions. The wider the lying surface, the more lying positions are possible and the more people have space in the hammock.
Hammocks are the beds of Central and South America. Primarily for protection from creeping and crawling animals such as spiders, snakes and scorpions, the natives prefer to sleep at some distance from the ground. The two positive effects that are now recognized and appreciated in Europe is the fact that the gentle rocking in the hammock helps with falling asleep and sleep disorders, and that the distribution of body weight prevents one-sided stress and thus back pain and tension.
The Family, as the name suggests, offers space for the whole family. Four people can have fun in this oversized mesh hammock or just enjoy some quiet time, if the children allow it.
